Our new Vegan Waterproof Derbys are made for real life: shoes that look sharp, feel like trainers, and keep your feet dry through every season.
They’re built in Portugal using advanced injection-moulding technology — a process usually reserved for high-performance hiking and sports footwear, like our WVSport collection. The soles and uppers are fused together in one continuous piece, creating a sealed base that keeps water out while staying flexible and lightweight.
Why Waterproof Footwear Matters
For most of us, rain and cold are part of everyday life — wet pavements, puddles at crossings, and those unpredictable showers on the way to work. A good pair of waterproof shoes isn’t about luxury; it’s about reliability. That quiet comfort of knowing your feet will stay dry, wherever the day takes you.
Historically, waterproof footwear came from the worlds of exploration and labour. Early boots were waxed or greased leather, stitched to survive the elements. Then came vulcanised rubber soles and moulded constructions — the technology that shaped modern waterproof design.
We introduced our first Waterproof Hiking Boots back in 2017, pioneering fully vegan waterproof performance footwear. That release marked the beginning of a journey: building shoes that could handle the elements without compromising ethics, comfort, or craftsmanship.
Since then, our waterproof range has grown to include:

The injection-moulded construction fuses the uppers and soles in one durable piece using TR and rubber compounds, forming a completely sealed base. Water can’t seep through — even in heavy rain or deep puddles.
Every pair provides full waterproof protection up to the bottom of the laces, keeping your feet dry from splashes, wet pavements, and long commutes.

Inside, you’ll find thick, removable sports insoles that provide soft, squishy cushioning and shock absorption through long days on your feet.
The OnSteam® linings are breathable, antimicrobial, and designed to wick moisture away — keeping your feet fresh, not sweaty.
The silhouette is clean and timeless, with a square toe and double-stitched quarters that work just as well with jeans as with tailoring.
They feel like trainers but look like dress shoes — versatile, polished, and made to move.
Crafted with Sustainable Materials
Each pair is made from our signature Italian vegan leather, created with 69% bio-based content for a supple yet resilient finish.
Inside, natural Portuguese cork forms the base layer, moulding to your feet over time for tailored comfort.
The recycled polyester laces are finished with metal tips, while the solid rubber outsole provides grip, impact protection, and long-term wear.
